About SahiChuno Cards
SahiChuno Cards exists to help Indians choose credit cards with honest comparisons, current data and zero jargon. Here's our story and how we work.
Sahi chuno. Choose right.
SahiChuno Cards started with a familiar frustration: choosing a credit card in India meant wading through bank brochures written by lawyers, comparison sites ranked by commissions, and forum threads that were six devaluations out of date. Somewhere between "up to 10X rewards*" and the asterisk, the actual answer — which card should I get? — kept getting lost.
So we built the site we wished existed. SahiChuno means "choose right" in Hindi, and that's the entire mission: give every Indian the information to pick the right card in minutes, not weekends.
What we do
- Honest reviews. Every card page lists cons as prominently as pros, states caps and exclusions up front, and ends with a plain verdict about who the card is actually for.
- Current data. Indian issuers revise fees, caps and benefits constantly. We track official pricing documents and issuer announcements, and update pages when things materially change.
- Real comparisons. Our compare tool puts fees, reward rates, waiver bars and fine print side by side, so the trade-offs are visible instead of buried.
What we don't do
We don't rank cards by who pays us. We don't hide devaluations to keep a card looking shiny. And we don't pretend reward maths is simpler than it is — when a "10X" program works out to 2.5% back, we say so.
A note on accuracy
Card terms change without notice, and banks sometimes vary rates by customer profile. We state figures conservatively, flag approximations with words like "around" and "up to", and encourage you to confirm the latest terms on the issuer's site before applying. Our content is informational, not financial advice.
Questions people ask us
Are you paid by banks to rank cards?
No. Our rankings and ratings are editorial and based on what a card returns to its target user — fees, reward value, caps and real-world usability. If we ever carry referral links, they will be clearly disclosed and will not change how we rate or rank cards.
How often is the information updated?
We review card pages regularly and update them when issuers announce material changes — fee revisions, reward devaluations, benefit withdrawals. Where a figure varies by customer profile or changes frequently, we state it as an approximation rather than pretending false precision.
Do you provide personal financial advice?
No. SahiChuno Cards is an informational service. We help you understand and compare cards, but we don't know your full financial picture. For personalised advice, consult a registered financial adviser; before applying for any card, verify the latest terms with the issuing bank.
